Therapies we dispense.

IVIG

Immune globulin therapy, where the payer requirements are heavy and the documentation is where referrals usually stall.

What this involves.

Working this therapy

Immune globulin is one of the most documentation-intensive therapies a practice can prescribe. Payers ask for diagnosis-specific criteria, prior therapy history, laboratory values and weight-based justification, and a referral that arrives without them sits in a queue.

Our team knows what the plans ask for and asks the office for it once, up front, rather than in a series of callbacks. The Director of Infusion Services who runs this programme holds the IgCP credential — the certification specific to immune globulin therapy — and immune globulin referrals are reviewed with that in mind.

We dispense and deliver; administration happens at the prescribing practice. Where a therapy will not work that way, we say so on the call rather than after the referral has moved.

A note on scope. We are a dispensing pharmacy, not an infusion suite. We source the medication, verify it, prepare it and deliver it — your treatment is given at your prescribing practice.
