What to expect from your pharmacy

If your doctor has sent a prescription to us, here is how this works — what we do, what we will ask you for, and who to call when you have a question. There is nothing you need to set up first.

Monday - Friday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Getting started.

From prescription to first delivery

01

Your doctor sends us the prescription

You do not have to do anything to start this. Your prescriber calls or faxes it to us, and we take it from there.

02

We check your insurance

We contact your plan to find out what it covers and what it will ask for. If there is a cost to you, we tell you what it is before anything is dispensed — you will not be surprised by a bill you never agreed to.

03

We handle the approval

Most specialty medications need the plan's approval first. We put the request together, send it, and follow it. If the plan says no, we work the appeal with your doctor's office.

04

We deliver it to your doctor's office

Once everything is cleared, your medication goes to the office where you are being treated, delivered by our own driver and timed to your appointment. You do not have to collect it or carry it.

05

We stay ahead of your refills

We contact you before your next refill is due rather than waiting for you to run out, and we renew the approval before it expires.

Where appointments happen.

Stafford is a pharmacy

We are a dispensing pharmacy, not an infusion suite. We source the medication, verify it, prepare it and deliver it — your treatment is given at your prescribing practice.

We say so here so nobody drives to Sugar Grove Boulevard expecting a chair and a nurse. Your treatment happens where it always has — at your own doctor’s office. Our job is to make sure your medication is there, cleared by your insurance, on the day of your appointment.

For a medical emergency, call 911.

Already with us.

Refills, delivery and questions

Refills. We call you before your next refill is due. If you are running low sooner than expected, call us — do not wait for our call.
Delivery. We arrange the date with you by phone. If something needs to change, call and we will move it.
Insurance changes. Tell us as soon as your plan changes, including at the start of a plan year. Coverage has to be re-checked and approvals often have to be redone.
A question about your medication. Call (346) 350-2000 and ask for the pharmacist.

Questions we get.

Patient FAQ

Can I get my infusion at your Stafford location?

No. Our Stafford location is a pharmacy — we prepare and deliver medication there, and it is not set up for patient appointments. Your treatment is given at your own doctor's office. We deliver your medication to them, timed to your appointment.

What will my medication cost?

That depends on your plan, and we will not guess. We check your coverage first and tell you what your share is before anything is dispensed. Where a manufacturer or foundation assistance program exists for your therapy, we will tell you about it — we cannot promise you will qualify, but we will not leave you to find out about it on your own.

How long does it take to get started?

It depends on your plan and your therapy, and anyone who gives you a number without knowing both is guessing. What we will do is tell you where your case actually stands whenever you call, rather than leaving you wondering.

Where is my medication delivered?

To the office where you are being treated, by our own driver, timed to your appointment. You do not need to collect it, pay for it at the counter, or bring anything with you.

Who do I call if something is wrong with my delivery?

Call the pharmacy. The same team handles your account, so you are not explaining your situation from the beginning each time. For a medical emergency, call 911.

What if I am going out of town?

Call us before you travel rather than after. Specialty medications often need particular handling, and there is usually something we can arrange if we know in advance.

Still not sure? Send us a message or call (346) 350-2000. Asking is free and we would rather answer than have you guess.

Have a question about your therapy?

Call the pharmacy and speak to the team that handles your account. We answer Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
