For gastroenterology practices.

Specialty pharmacy for gastroenterology practices

Inflammatory bowel disease is managed over years, and the therapies that control it depend on an unbroken schedule. We handle the coverage and dispensing for gastroenterology practices across the Houston metro so a lapsed authorization does not become a flare.

Where referrals stall.

The problem we take off your office

A lapsed authorization in IBD is not an administrative inconvenience. The therapies that hold remission do not tolerate gaps well, and a refill that arrives two weeks late can cost a patient months.

Dose escalation adds a second trap. When a patient needs a shortened interval or a higher dose, many plans treat that as a new authorization — and the practice often discovers this at the point the patient needs the escalated dose, not before.

We renew before expiry, re-authorize escalations as a matter of course rather than as a surprise, and coordinate the refill ahead of the date it is needed.

What we handle.

Our part

Prior authorization at start of therapy, at every renewal, and at dose escalation
Refill coordination scheduled ahead of the next dose rather than on request
Benefit re-verification at plan year changes
Delivery to your practice, timed to the infusion appointment
Appeals where a plan declines an escalation

You hear from us at every step. And if we cannot fill it, you will know why, quickly — rather than hearing it from the patient.

Questions from gastroenterology offices.

Gastroenterology FAQ

The patient needs a shortened interval. Does that need a new authorization?

Usually, yes — most plans treat an escalation as a new request. Tell us as soon as the decision is made rather than when the escalated dose is due, and we will have it cleared before the appointment.

How do you stop an authorization lapsing?

We track the expiry date against the dosing schedule and start the renewal in the gap between doses. The failure mode we are guarding against is a renewal that comes due silently between two appointments months apart.

Who administers the infusion?

Your practice. We deliver the medication to your office ready for the appointment; we are a dispensing pharmacy and do not have infusion chairs.

What does my practice carry?

Nothing. We verify benefits before anything ships. No inventory, no purchase, and no denial for the practice to absorb.
