Therapies we dispense.
Infectious Disease
Anti-infective therapy, including courses that begin in hospital and have to continue without a gap after discharge.
What this involves.
Working this therapy
Anti-infective therapy is frequently time-critical and frequently begins somewhere else — in a hospital, in an emergency department, in an urgent referral from a clinic. The transition out of that setting is where a course is most likely to break.
We work those referrals as handoffs: confirm what was started, confirm what the plan covers, and get the next dose coordinated so the course continues on its intended schedule rather than restarting a week later.
A note on scope. We are a dispensing pharmacy, not an infusion suite. We source the medication, verify it, prepare it and deliver it — your treatment is given at your prescribing practice.
