For neurology practices.

Specialty pharmacy for neurology practices

Neurology referrals are where the paperwork is heaviest and where a therapy is most likely to stall before it starts. We work immune globulin and infused neurology therapies for practices across the Houston metro, and the documentation is our job rather than your staff's.

Where referrals stall.

The problem we take off your office

Immune globulin is among the most documentation-intensive therapies a practice can prescribe. Plans attach diagnosis-specific criteria to it, ask for electrodiagnostic findings and prior therapy history, and want weight-based justification. A referral that arrives without them sits in a queue, and the first anyone hears about it is often the patient calling to ask why nothing has happened.

Disease-modifying therapy for multiple sclerosis has the opposite failure mode. Doses can be months apart, which makes it unusually easy for an authorization to lapse quietly in the gap and for nobody to notice until the next one is due.

We treat both as tracking problems. The criteria are assembled before submission, and the renewal dates are tracked against the dosing interval so the coverage work happens between doses rather than at the appointment.

What we handle.

Our part

Diagnosis-specific payer criteria assembled before the authorization is submitted
Prior authorization, appeals and peer-to-peer support where a plan declines
Renewal dates tracked against the dosing interval, so coverage does not lapse between doses
Benefit re-verification at plan year changes
Delivery to your practice, timed to the infusion appointment

You hear from us at every step. And if we cannot fill it, you will know why, quickly — rather than hearing it from the patient.

Fast, and measured

Median two days from referral to delivery. We measure it because a prescriber choosing a pharmacy is really choosing how long their patient waits.

No inventory, no cash risk

We verify benefits before anything moves. Your practice does not buy the drug, does not carry it on the shelf, and does not absorb a denial.

You hear from us at every step

Neurology FAQ

What do you need from us for an immune globulin referral?

Send the prescription and the chart. We will tell you precisely what the specific plan wants — usually the diagnosis and ICD-10, the clinical findings supporting it, prior therapies tried, and current weight. We ask once, in one request, rather than in a series of callbacks.

Our last IVIG referral took weeks elsewhere. Why would this be different?

Most of that time is usually spent discovering what the plan wanted and resubmitting. We establish the criteria before the first submission. Our median across all therapies is two days from referral to delivery; immune globulin with a prior authorization depends on how fast that plan moves, and we will tell you where it stands rather than leaving you to chase it.

Who tracks the authorization renewal?

We do, against the dosing interval. On therapies dosed months apart this is the single most common way coverage fails, so it is the thing we watch most actively.

Does the patient come to you for the infusion?

No. We are a dispensing pharmacy. The medication is delivered to your practice and your team administers it at the appointment.

Anything not answered here, ask Naomi Selevan directly on (346) 350-2000 — a pharmacist picks up.
