Referring a patient.
Start with a conversation
There is no form to track down and no portal to learn. Tell us what your patient needs and our team will take it from there — confirming benefits, clearing the prior authorization, and keeping your office informed from the first call through every refill.

Why practices refer to us.
What your office actually gets
Median referral to delivery
Median two days from the referral reaching us to the medication being delivered.
Repeat referrers
98% of our volume comes from practices that have referred to us before.
Inventory you carry
No inventory and no cash risk for your practice. You do not buy the drug or absorb a denial.
A pharmacist answers
A pharmacist answers the phone, not a call centre. Owner-operated, a live person every time.
Fast, and measured
Median two days from referral to delivery. We measure it because a prescriber choosing a pharmacy is really choosing how long their patient waits.
No inventory, no cash risk
We verify benefits before anything moves. Your practice does not buy the drug, does not carry it on the shelf, and does not absorb a denial.
You hear from us at every step
Referral received. Benefits verified. Prior authorization submitted. Delivered. And if we cannot fill it, you will know why, quickly — rather than finding out from the patient.
A pharmacist answers, not a call centre
Owner-operated. When you call, a pharmacist picks up — a live person every time, who knows the case rather than reading it for the first time.
Our own driver
Delivered across the Houston metro by our own driver, not handed to a carrier and hoped for.
In network
In network with the major Part D, Medicare Advantage and commercial plans.
You hear from us at every step.
“I have a wonderful experience each time I send prescription to Prime Infusion. Great communication, fast service. Naomi is amazing very helpful.”
Delivery and repeat-referral figures are our own, as of October 2026.
After you call.
What happens on our side
You call, or you fax the prescription
That is the whole referral. Call us and tell us what your patient needs, or send the prescription through and we will call you. There is no portal to register for and no account to set up first.
We confirm the benefit
We verify the patient's coverage — medical or pharmacy benefit, cost share, any site-of-care requirement — and find out what the plan will want to see before it approves.
We clear the prior authorization
We assemble the submission, send it, follow it, and support the appeal if the plan declines. Your office is not the one chasing the payer.
We keep you informed
You hear where things stand from us. If something needs a signature or a clinical note from your office, we ask once and tell you exactly what the plan is asking for.
We dispense and deliver
A clinical pharmacist verifies the order, a second checks it, and the medication is delivered to your practice by our own driver — timed to the appointment you already have on the calendar.
We keep the patient on therapy
Refills are scheduled ahead of the date they are needed and authorizations are renewed before they lapse — because staying on therapy is where complex treatment most often breaks down.
Helpful, not required.
What speeds a referral up
Send what you have. Nothing on this list is a precondition — we will call for anything that is missing — but a referral that arrives with these moves faster, because it is what the payer will ask for.
Please do not send clinical detail by web form or email. Ordinary email is not a secure channel for patient information. Use the fax line at (346) 350-6100 or call us at (346) 350-2000; the contact form on this site is for getting a conversation started, not for records.
Who you will be working with.
Naomi Selevan, PharmD, IgCP
Director of Infusion Services
Our specialty pharmacy program in Texas is directed by Naomi Selevan, who holds the IgCP credential for immune globulin therapy. Prescribing offices get a named person rather than a queue.

Questions we get.
Prescriber FAQ
Do I need to use a specific referral form?
No. Call us or fax the prescription. If your practice prefers to work from its own form or its EHR's referral output, send that — we will work from what you already produce rather than asking your staff to rekey it.
Do you administer infusions in Stafford?
No. We are a dispensing pharmacy: we source, verify, prepare and deliver. Your practice administers, in your own office, at your own appointment — which is the point of the model. You never buy the drug or carry it on the shelf, and you do not absorb a denial.
Who handles the prior authorization?
We do. We assemble the submission, send it, follow it to a decision and support the appeal if the plan declines. We come back to your office when the plan asks for something only you can supply, and we tell you precisely what that is.
How will I know what is happening with my patient?
You hear from us. The same team handles the account throughout, so when you call you reach someone who knows the case rather than someone reading it for the first time.
Can you take a patient who is already on therapy elsewhere?
Yes. Call us and we will work out what transferring involves for that specific therapy and that specific plan before anything moves, so the patient does not end up with a gap in the middle of a transfer.
What areas do you serve?
Prescribers and patients across the Houston metro, from our pharmacy in Stafford. If you are outside the area, call us anyway — Prime Infusions operates beyond Texas and we will point you to the right part of the organization.
One call starts it.
Tell us what your patient needs. We will confirm the benefit, clear the authorization and keep your office informed — so your staff can get back to patient care.
